My name is Aggrey Omambia. I am the founder of GConnect and the creator of Dance Connect — a dance wellness and lifestyle movement born in Nairobi in 2025, built on one belief: that dance is not performance. It is medicine. It is community. It is the most human thing we can do together in a room.
What started as an intimate meetup — a circle of people willing to show up, move, and be present — has, in just over a year, become one of Nairobi's most energetic rising wellness communities. From sessions of ten to events of 300+. From neighbourhood spaces to the finish line of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon. From partnership with Smartgyms to the Nairobi City Marathon and a collaboration with Decathlon at the annual Nchi Charity. We have not grown by being louder. We have grown by being real.
Dance Connect is not a fitness class. It is not a dance school. It is a movement in the fullest sense of the word — a gathering of people who believe wellness should feel like joy, not punishment.
